My concern is over the long term solution to Ledley King. I think Bassong is massively underated and could form a great long term partnership with Kaboul…but we have to endure old man Gallas instead.

@TipsySpur: I haven’t really thought about that but I guess the new training center will play a key role in the fitness of our squad. Interesting point.

@Guest: We are on a roll (knock on wood) and I also agree that Newcastle are beatable. We need to be in form and do away with any negativity as the media will exploit this leading up to our match; also, Newcastle will desperately try to hold onto that top 4 position and a lack of discipline or focus from any player will do us harm.

Fortunately we are going along like an express train and it will take a lot to de rail us. So I don’t think Rafa whinging will be a problem for the team because Harry will just put him straight and tell him to stfu and get on with it. But if any of our key players get crocked in the international games that could mess us up. Newcastle are beatable i we can field our first team.

What you said makes sense SA… however, Harry came out and admitted he sort of got it wrong with the formation. The 442 formation paid off once we caught them on the counter, but that was it. It helped that Arsenal were lacking a lot of confidence on the day, proven by the fact that RVP and Walcott didn’t pose any realistic threat to our goal.

But in my opinion, I felt we were a much better team once we had the 2 DMs on the pitch… Arsenal just didn’t have the strength to cope whatsoever.
